Keerthy Suresh

Keerthy Suresh (born 17 October 1992) is an Indian actress that appears mainly in Tamil and Telugu film, as well as to several Malayalam films. She received the National Film Awards' Best Actress award for portraying Savitri as the lead actor in the Telugu Film Mahanati (2018). She also won a Filmfare Award South and three SIIMA Awards. Keerthy is the daughter of Menaka G. Suresh and filmmaker G. Suresh Kumar is a young actress. Her early career was as a children's actress. Then, following a course in fashion design, she was back to acting. She played the role of lead actress in Geethaanjali, a Malayalam-language film. She went on to star in successful films such as Ring Master (2014), Rajinimurugan (2016), Remo (2016), Bairavaa (2017), Nenu Local (2017), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Mahanati (2018), Sarkar (2018), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Penguin (2020), Miss India (2021), Good Luck Sakhi (2022) and Sarkaru Vaari Paata (2022). Keerthy signed her first Tamil projects in the year 2015, and started accepting projects from Malayalam. In 2015 she released A. L. Vijay's romantic comedy Idhu Enna Maayam and Vikramprabhu opposite one another. The films were not a success in cinemas. A busy schedule during 2015 led her choose to stay out of movies which she had already started making, such as Krishna's Maane Thaene Paeye as well as Deekay's Kavalai Vendam in order to accommodate bigger projects. In a short time she collaborated alongside Sivakarthikeyan in Rajini Murugan, Remo and she also acted as the lead on Prabhu Sool's Thodari alongside Dhanush. The film that she played in was her Telugu debut was planned to be titled Ainaa Ishtam nuvvu. The film has been delayed since 2015 and reports suggest it would be released in September, 2020 under the new name Janakitho Nenu. The first film to debut came out as Nenu Sailaja in the year 2016 with actress Ram Pothineni. Keerthy was cast as Vijay in Bairavaa by Bharathan the film, which debuted on the 17th of January, 2017.
