Keerthy Suresh
Keerthy Suresh (born 17 October 1992) is an Indian actress that appears mainly in Tamil and Telugu films, in addition to some Malayalam films. She won the National Film Award Best Actress Award for her performance as the role of actress Savitri. She has also won three SIIMA Awards as well as a Filmfare Award South. Keerthy Kumar's parents include filmmaker G. Suresh Kumar & actor Menaka G. Suresh. At the beginning of 2000, she began as a young actor. Following her study of fashion design, she went back to the world of film. She was the leading role in Geethaanjali an Malayalam film. She went on to star in successful films such as Ring Master (2014), Rajinimurugan (2016), Remo (2016), Bairavaa (2017), Nenu Local (2017), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Mahanati (2018), Sarkar (2018), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Penguin (2020), Miss India (2021), Good Luck Sakhi (2022) and Sarkaru Vaari Paata (2022). Keerthy's first film outside Malayalam was Idhuenna Maayam (2015), opposite Vikram Prabhu. The film was not a success in the theater. The director was A. L. Vijay along and Vikram the director, that released Idhu Enna Maayam in 2015. The film didn't fare quite well, however it was released. The actress had to pull out of several films she had been involved in during 2015, such as Krishna's Maane Thaene Paeye, and Deekay's Kavalai Vedam to make room for more ambitious projects. In two of her films, she acted that came out in quick succession, alongside Sivakarthikeyan, Rajini Murugan & Remo. Dhanush was also an actor of note for Prabhu's Thodari. While the date for release of Janakitho Nuvvu hasn't been announced, it is reported that it could release sometime in September of 2020. Nenu Sailaja was released in 2016 and starred in the role of actor Ram Pothineni. In January 2017, Keerthy appeared in Bairavaa with actor Vijay and produced by Bharathan. Also, she was on screen in Tamil film Paambhu Sattai as well as Telugu film Nenu Local in 2017.
