Avery Sunshine
Avery Sunshine, a singer-composer recognized for his unique blend of soul gospel jazz R&B and R&B. She's performed all over from Broadway and the Democratic National Convention to the European party and concert scenes. Sunshine's birth her name as Denise White. Although she's located in Atlanta but her origins are in Chester Pennsylvania. There she started to grow as a musician, playing instruments and singing in church. Following her graduation from Spellman College, Atlanta she started her journey in music on Atlanta's R&B culture. The Fighting Temptations The first single featuring her voice was called Stalk You an exclusive house 12 that was released exclusively in Japan; it has since been remixed by numerous producers and is a staple of her live performance. Her voice is also included on the soundtrack to The Fighting Temptations. Her role was as the principal keyboardist for Tyler Perry's stage play Meet the Browns in 2005. Jennifer Holliday was the Grammy and Tony Award winner who approached her in 2007 for a position as the Choral Director for Dreamgirls The stage show in Atlanta's National Black Arts Festival. Sunshine gained national recognition in her four performances during 2008's Democratic National Convention. She was later invited to sing during the President's 2009 inauguration.
